About Us


Thadikonda Research Foundation is a private, nonprofit, charitable organization dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and adults who are touched by rare disorders.

Objectives

“To provide awareness, education and training facilities for children and families with special needs” and “To promote pharmaceutical and medical research and training in underdeveloped communities around the world” with specific reference to rare disorders such as Cerebral Palsy and Autism.


Dr. Krupakar Paul Thadikonda Executive Director

Dr. Krupakar Paul Thadikonda Dr. Paul is the Executive Director of Thadikonda Research Foundation. He did his studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences and started his teaching career in Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Andhra University, India as Lecturer in Pharmacology. He came to US in 1987 and completed his PhD Degree in Neuropharmacology at St. John’s University, New York in 1991.

Dr. Paul is also the Founder and President/CEO of Maryland based EMINENT Services Corporation (1997) that specializes in providing the investigational drug management and information technology services to pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry and Federal Government/ contract research organizations. Early in his carreer he has headed several positions in Ogden BioServices and McKesson BioServices. He is the holder of several patents in drug product development and technical consultant to several Federal Agencies in clinical drug product development.

Recent Milestone

Prasanth Michael Thadikonda Bhavan On 15 Apr 2009, Prasanth Michael Thadikonda Bhavan developed by Dr. Krupakar Paul Thadikonda, was inaugurated by K. Anji Reddy of Dr. Reddy’s Lab.

It has all modern infrastructure for teaching and research in pharmaceutical sciences. Andhra University Vice-Chancellor B. Satyanarayana inaugurated the Prof. V. Subba Rao auditorium in the new building. Prof. Satyanarayana stressed the need for industry-institute collaborative research to meet newer challenges in pharma sector. Dr. Anji Reddy agreed to have collaborative research projects with AU Pharmacy College.
